Economic Impact Payments (also known as stimulus checks) distribution for customers whose tax refunds were prepared by Trina T Tax Service and processed by Republic Bank’s Tax Refund Solutions
The following information is provided specific to taxpayers who elected to have their 2019-2020 federal tax refund processed by Republic Bank’s Tax Refund Solutions program during their filing process.
While we anticipate most stimulus funds will be sent directly from the IRS to taxpayers, please be aware, if Republic Bank does receive a current year taxpayer’s stimulus funding for some reason, the funds will be sent via mailed check to the current mailing address on file, and we will not be withholding any fees from the payments.
On April 15, 2020 the IRS released an online “Get My Payment” tool https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment.
If you are a taxpayers who elected to have your 2019-2020 federal tax refund processed by Republic Bank’s Tax Refund Solutions program during their filing process you can use this IRS tool to identify if you are a part of this small percentage of taxpayers whose funds will be mailed by Republic Bank. If the bank account shown for you on the tool has an account number ending with the last 3 digits of your SSN plus a zero, your funds will be mailed by Republic Bank.
This IRS tool will allow all taxpayers to:
- Check your payment status.
- Confirm your payment type: direct deposit or check.
- Enter your bank account information for direct deposits if the IRS does not already have the information on file and has not already disbursed the EIP.
